We use industry recommended technology at our data center.

We currently have one data center located in Male’. Our data center currently consists of switches and other equipment recommended by APNIC and ISOC.

We currently provide interconnection to the following networks. 

Internet traffic has grown significantly over recent years. As such, we provide 1G and 10G ports. It is highly recommended that members connect to more than one interconnection point to improve reliability.

MVIX is responsible for all switches, which are operated by service providers selected by MVIX. Individual members are responsible for arranging their own connections.

Members can choose from 1G and 10G ports. We fully support port aggregation, multicast and IPv6.

Switches are operated by Service Providers selected by MVIX who provide maintenance for the IXP points 24/7, all throughout the year.
